First of all, ask me for a quote.  I’m always happy to take on jobs of all sizes, so don’t automatically presume that the images you need will be too expensive, ask me first.  I’m a friendly soul!  You can email me using the ‘floating FEEDBACK’ tab.

Quotes are usually based on the amount of time that a drawing will take to do.  Normally the simpler the picture, the less time it will take to do.

If you are happy with the quote and you’ve asked me to draw something for you, I will provide you with a set of rough ideas, probably three or four, but often more.  These are to give you a very rough idea of the direction that the final artwork will go in.

You then choose one of these ideas, telling me at this point if you would like any changes making before I begin the final work.

I then go away and finish the artwork for you.  You have the opportunity to make one final set of (reasonable) alterations.  It’s not possible for me to start again for the initially agreed fee at this point – if you change your mind entirely about the drawing.   I can start again but I would have to charge you a lot more than my initial quote if I do, because of the time incurred.

However, I’ve very rarely had to charge anybody extra or had anyone unhappy with my work and I’m really only happy with the results if I know that you are too.

I’m a business woman not only an illustrator at the end of the day.  That being said, my rates are very reasonable and I do sometimes take on projects with extremely tight budgets simply because I want to help where I can.
